Just take a look around the gorgeous ornate decoration of the Casino and enjoy a glass of something sparkling with a few nibbles whilst star gazing at the jet-set lifestyles of the very rich and incredibly famous as they stroll by.

To be legally married in Monte Carlo, the couple has to be resident in France for at least 40 days prior to the wedding date. Obviously, this is not so practical for most couples and, in fact, UK couples who choose to get married in France do not need to worry about this law as they generally have a quiet, civil ceremony in the UK and then have a symbolic ceremony in Monte Carlo. Getting married in your home country also means that you avoid all of the French-Monegasque paperwork and can simply enjoy your special day with friends and family. Blessings and reaffirmations are very common in Monte Carlo. You will still receive a marriage diploma following the ceremony.
