   Weddings in Monte Carlo

Fabulous views and fabulous memories are what weddings in Monte Carlo, in the royal principality of Monaco, are made of. With 300 days of sunshine a year and just an hour’s flight from the UK, the French Riviera is an exclusive wedding destination which will leave you and your guests delighted and impressed by its varied landscape.

Playboys, yachts, fast cars and casinos spring to mind when you hear the word, ‘Monaco’.
Ok, so Princess Grace and Grand Prix probably also jostle for a close second place so is it any wonder that given this heady mix of danger and romance that Monte Carlo is now considered to be one of the most exciting and romantic wedding locations for couples around the world !

Not just Furs n’ Ferraris…!

Indeed, Monaco is known for its fantastic shopping opportunities for all things designer but there is so much more to Monaco than just repeatedly damaging your credit card at the shops by day and at the casino by night.

How about visiting some of the amazing architecture & beautiful parks with sculptured bushes & gushing fountains. Or how about taking a stroll along its famous Marina, La Condamine where you’ll find lots of nice places to eat and drink. La Condamine is also handy if you have a few million euros to spare and wish to make a spur of the moment purchase on a yacht…! Do take time to visit the Japanese Garden with its koi filled pond and waterfalls, rocks and bridges that provide a secret haven from the hustle and bustle of this fast-paced city.

Casino Royale?

The most famous attraction in Monte Carlo must be its world-celebrated Casino. You really don’t have to be a gambler to enjoy the architectural beauty of Casino. Just take a look around the gorgeous ornate decoration of the Casino and enjoy a glass of something sparkling with a few nibbles whilst star gazing at the jet-set lifestyles of the very rich and incredibly famous as they stroll by.

To be legally married in Monte Carlo, the couple has to be resident in France for at least 40 days prior to the wedding date. Obviously, this is not so practical for most couples and, in fact, UK couples who choose to get married in France do not need to worry about this law as they generally have a quiet, civil ceremony in the UK and then have a symbolic ceremony in Monte Carlo. Getting married in your home country also means that you avoid all of the French-Monegasque paperwork and can simply enjoy your special day with friends and family. Blessings and reaffirmations are very common in Monte Carlo. You will still receive a marriage diploma following the ceremony.

In addition to booking the transport, accommodation and the wedding ceremony in Monte Carlo, we can also arrange bridal flowers, wedding cakes, photography, professional make up and hairdressing, string musicians (harpist or violinist during ceremony) and celebration meals.
