A couple of years ago, Kevin was involved in a near-fatal road accident.

Following a long but full recovery, Kevin decided to live life to the fullest and to make the most of every moment. The first thing he decided to do was to marry the love of his life, Sandra Davidson, whom he'd known for 17 years. The second thing he did was to drop an email to our wedding planner, Kay Sharma.
What followed was a fairytale wedding.

The Brief:

To have the most memorable & enjoyable wedding possible for an intimate party of 30 close family & friends in a sunny destination that's neither too far nor too drastically different from home either plus a wedding reception in the UK followed by a honeymoon” – Kevin Coughlan

GIBRALTAR

Only a 2.5 hour flight from the UK and a veritable home away from home, Gibraltar offers year-round sunshine and is still intrinsically British.
A duty-free haven, the Pound is the official currency so no need to change your money to Euros.

GETTING TO THE AIRPORT

“The Mercedes limousine you arranged for us was absolutely great both in appearance & punctuality. The driver was very smart and professional and made our journey a most enjoyable one. We especially enjoyed the complimentary champagne and chocolates during the drive and Sandra was delighted with the flowers”

OVERNIGHT AIRPORT ACCOMMODATION

“The package you arranged for us at the Hilton Gatwick was excellent.
We were upgraded upon arrival to the Honeymoon Suite as you had informed them that were embarking on mar ria ge and, as you would expect from the Hilton, total professionalism throughout the evening. The meal you booked for us was the best I have experienced at a hotel in a long time.
First class choice of hotel before you travel on an early flight from Gatwick!”

THE FLIGHT TO GIBRALTAR

The check in was smooth and your suggestion of upgrading to British Airways Club Class was absolutely the right call. It was the most relaxing experience I have had at an airport in years.
Right from the VIP Club lounge to the boarding and the on-board service, I cannot fault anything. You only get what you pay for – never was a truer word spoken and after seeing the debacle in the Easy Jet camp and reports from some of my guests, you made the absolute right choice for us.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

GIBRALTAR ACCOMMODATION

“Well Kay, where do I start? The Penthouse at the hotel was fantastic and was decked out with lovely flowers and nice little touches such as wine, chocolates and fruit from you.

The hotel staff pulled out all the stops to make our stay a comfortable one.

Even the housekeeping & room service was excellent. All of my guests echoed the same thing and found the choice of accommodation was spot on.

The pool party and the farewell dinner were arranged to perfection in every aspect and I would recommend anyone to have their event held at the Rock Hotel…special thanks to all those who made everything come together seamlessly and gave us 110% commitment and time and also watched over every venue in the hotel to make sure that our guests had a wonderfully fantastic time. I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my time but have never come across such vigour & enthusiasm as displayed here. Words escape me”.

BRIDAL MAKE UP & HAIRDRESSING

“The make up artist & the hairdresser were both first-class and were a credit to both themselves and you as they added the touches that complemented the whole bridal look and not just for Sandra but for her mother and sisters too. She was delighted”

WEDDING FLOWERS & DECORATION

“From the beautiful floral arch at the outdoor ceremony in the botanical gardens to the gorgeous set up of the Wisteria Room at the Rock Hotel & the Mons Calpe Suite, all the wedding decorations were very professionally done and beautiful. We could not have asked for more. The whole thing was done so well and was a credit to both supplier & arranger as what was without doubt one of the best set-ups I have seen.

Also, not forgetting the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid posies & buttonholes – all of which were stunning, especially with the surprise touch of the crystals within Sandra's bouquet.

Also, the very thoughtful and beautiful flowers Sandra seemed to receive at every turn, both in the UK & Gibraltar, from your goodself”.

WEDDING CAKES

“What can I say? I'm speechless!
The wedding cake in Gibraltar looked & tasted absolutely fantastic and the attention to detail was very, very cleverly done. As one who does not normally have much of a sweet tooth, I actually had a second helping as it tasted so good. All of the guests were raving over the iced groom figure with the Manchester United kit!

As for the three-tiered cake at our reception, this was more traditional and just what we were looking for and, once again, the attention to detail was superb.

VENUES & ENTERTAINMENT

All five venues you chose for us were just right.
The ceremony itself was in The Dell which was the most beautiful, romantic setting for an outdoor wedding. All our guests loved it.

The Mons Calpe Suite at the top of the Rock was the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon lunch. It worked really well. Not only do you get wonderful views which look great in the photographs but both the kids and the Big Kids loved the apes! The menu was just right too…not too heavy. The staff were very attentive and it was a very pleasant afternoon. The DJ was very good and, unlike some weddings I've been to, didn't push the issue of people not dancing too much. It had been a long day and guests just chilled out, relaxed and enjoyed the amazing views from the top.

The pool at the Rock Hotel was probably the best of the venues. All my guests tell me the same thing when we chat about it.

The Wiste ria Room & Terrace at the Rock Hotel was a great setting to top off what had been a great wedding. Just like everything else you had chosen for us, it was both a relaxing and most perfect venue for our farewell dinner. In fact, everything from the set up, décor, food, entertainment and service was PERFECT.

The Sheraton Hotel in London, again chosen by you for our wedding reception, was a great choice and, once again, the food, entertainment, décor and staff didn't disappoint. What started out as an ‘intimate reception' turned out to be a fabulous reception for 120 guests!

“All involved did an absolutely fantastic job. This had been one of my concerns but I need not have bothered because, as per usual, you picked the best of the best possible”.

HONEYMOON ON THE QM2

“What can one say about this floating palace at sea? The upgrade to the Master Cabin was, quite literally, the icing on the cake. The whole 17 nights, from start to finish, was first class. It will be hard to top this one in the future but I would bet money that you will come up with something!”

“Both Sandra & I are so over the moon with all that you have arranged for us on our wedding. We don't know how we could ever have had such a perfect wedding without your input. It has been one the most stress free and pleasant arranging of an event that I have ever been involved with, and to be truthful, I really didn't have to do anything thanks to your fantastic arranging skills.

I have never met a more motivated person in their job as you and both Sandra & I will never forget the way you put all the little touches into our wedding to make it perfect. We cannot thank you enough.
