Getting married in the Mons Caple Suite, Top Of the Rock




One of the most unique wedding venues in Gibraltar, the Mons Calpe Suite is perched high on the top of the Rock of Gibraltar. The Rock of Gibraltar was known to the Romans as Mons Calpe, which was one of the Pillars of Hercules standing at the entrance to the Mediterranean.

Overlooking Gibraltar, Morocco & Spain with fabulous sea views, the Mons Calpe Suite offers you a circular venue for your wedding ceremony and reception with floor to ceiling glass windows and two outdoor terraces where you may enjoy a champagne reception before heading inside for a sumptuous wedding breakfast. The suite is reached by a cable car (6 minutes) or by road by mini-bus (20 minutes). The cable car can be decorated with bridal flowers and/or balloons or a huge satin ribbon can be wrapped around the entire car!

The suite is due to undergo a full renovation in December 2006 and will be ready by beginning March 2007 to host private parties. The new look will be a contemporary, modern and neutral décor with access to the outside terrace. Currently, the venue is available for bookings up to end November 2006.
